Integrity, Leadership and Passion...  a Radical new idea

My Objective

My main goal is to be a true representative of the people; listening to what they desire and taking action to see those desires come to fruition in the council chamber.  I am a firm believer in the fact that a councillor is elected to serve the people.  My motivation is that I anticipate seeing the Pittsburgh area and Kingston become an even greater place to live.  For starters my polling indicates that approximately 87% of Pittsburgh District residents are for the third crossing which should more aptly be named Kingston's "First" city-owned crossing.  Highway 401 is provincially owned and the LaSalle Causeway is federally owned, leaving the residents of Kingston without their own crossing.  I strongly support the establishment of a city-owned crossing; to serve the people of Pittsburgh, I will ensure that it becomes a major council issue.

What can I do for you?

This question represents a large portion of the basis of my campaign.  I have been interested in being a public servant ever since I was a child.  At the age of seven, I began to take an interest in Politics spending time in front of the TV tracking the poll results during elections.  This brought to light my interest in serving the public.  I feel I could bring my passion and energy into the council chamber to allow a new generation of politics to arise.  I would enjoy representing the wishes of the residents of Pittsburgh District and working alongside the other councillors to improve Kingston overall for everyone.  This can be done by simply asking the question: What can I do for you?
